Sharks.

Sharks have been around for at least 450 million years and have been described as ‘nature’s ultimate survivors'.

However, shark populations have dropped by 90 per cent in the last 30 years*, wreaking havoc on the marine ecosystem and rendering some species endangered.

ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN

What is
the Nets
Out Now campaign?

Together with Sea Shepherd and Parley for the Oceans we are calling for your support of the Nets Out Now petition. The Queensland and New South Wales Governments are responsible for the longest-running marine cull in history. Together with nets and baited drumlines, over 100,000 sharks and other marine animals have been killed.
These tactics and methods are cruel, outdated, and have been proved time and again not to protect swimmers and surfers. So far, over 100K people have signed and with 150K signatures, this becomes one of the top signed petitions on Change.org.
